This is a website for the Biennial Specialistic Course at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino (Italy).
It had to be both a container for informations about the course but also a sort of showcase for the students' works. So it included 4 main sections where you could find infos about teachers, students, subjects, works, meetings, etc. I chose a clean design where each section was immediately visible and expanded. 4 different colors helped to visually separate the sections, and spread along the titles and horizontal lines. The thumbnails in the galleries had a strong greyscale look, and they were collapsed and borderless — but they had a colored thumbnail on the rollover status.
Now the website has been redesigned from the ground up, but you can still check the old version.
