These photos are featured in the 2006/2007 edition of the student's guide “Studiare ad Urbino”. The idea was simple: each people holds a white panel containing the name of the place where the photo is taken. The various places are in the town of Urbino and they are related to University life, such as classrooms, colleges, food services, administration, labs. I shot the photos with an empty white panel — the text was added later in post-production, this way we had more time to choose the font (Franklin Gothic) and other details. Additional editing was required for color correction, especially to achieve the right black and white look of the main character holding the panel. The final book was designed by muschi&licheni studio, which also supervised the photoshoot.
