This is a DVD packaging that I designed as a complement to my bachelor at CAMPIVISIVI. I used a transparent envelope made of AirCap, and a thick printed cardboard as a DVD holder. I wanted to optimize logistic and duplication costs, so you can use the bubble air envelope just like a normal envelope — stick the address and the stamp, and it's ready to be sent by mail. Using the two sides of the cardboard allowed to put the two discs, but also offered lot of usable space for text, avoiding an external booklet. This particular design keeps the packaging weight to a minimum, and offers a pleasant tactile feedback to the user. You can also see the intro title from Guarda Lontano.
