As soon as I bought my Nikon D70 after its release in spring 2004, I wanted to try the timelapse technique. I am fascinated by this kind of filming, especially by watching beautiful movies such as Koyaanisqatsi and Baraka, so I just had to film my own timelapse scenes. I spent several months trying to achieve the most interesting images in various locations (including Denmark) and then I edited the whole thing, using a great drone soundtrack by Jonathan Coleclough. Working with a digital camera allowed me to obtain high resolution photos, and I was able to edit this video in full HD 1920 x 1080 format — the detail and the color depth are awesome, and a pleasure to work with.
Landscapes screened at Pesaro International Film Fest in July 2004 and won the first prize at the Premio Pascucci (Italy) in 2005.
