The word “qb” has the same pronounciation of “cubi”, which means “cubes”. You guessed it, this is an experimental video about cubes. It all started during one of my courses at CAMPIVISIVI; I was trying to mix traditional clay animation with digital compositing. I basically shot stop-motion sequences of clay cubes, then I used text emoticons like O_O , ^_^ , #_# and others to give a human facial expression to the cubes. While I was working on it, everything came in its own way and I decided to create a surreal situation where the main character emits a loud, long, enormous burp and he gets applauses and respect from other cubes. To make everything look sillier, I gave the cubes famous actors names in the credits list.
